DC Cymbalista
I am the founder of The Downing Street Group. I solve problems. For over thirty years I have worked with businesses, NGOs, and governments in moments of change – providing the research, insights, and strategy to gain a strategic advantage, solve complex cultural, communications, and branding challenges – and win.
I work at the intersection of psychology, culture, and business. I use research, analytical insights, and business know-how to get to the truth beyond assumptions, and frame issues in novel ways.
I have worked in over 20 countries, across multiple stakeholder groups, on dozens of political, branding, innovation, and corporate campaigns, with Fortune 100 companies facing internal crises and with startups looking to grow.
My clients have included Edison Power, Facebook, Condé Nast, Dove, Johnson & Johnson, Nestle’, Pepsi, The New York Times, Viacom, and The World Bank.
I hold a B.A. from Princeton University, an A.B.D. (Ph.D.) in Experimental Psychology from NYU, and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.
I am also a published novelist, a leader of a Burning Man camp, have taught Psychology at NYU, and speak several languages.
